The Devil’s gonna need some dentures

This is not my typical post, but I have to tell you-this past week has held some exciting stuff for our family and those around us. I have no idea where to even begin…so I’ll lay it out in short form.

We had a meeting with a private Christian school and the Lord is leading us there.

Hubby went to see Tony Evans live and the Lord has blessed him with an even stronger conviction to lead this family as the Godly hubby and father he is.

He shared a faith-stretching testimony with our Sunday School class…which was a trust and faith-stretching moment in itself…and to God be the glory!

I was able to face my fear of man (which proves time and again to be a snare for me) and experienced victory.

A friend and sister in Christ went in front of the church to declare the Lord’s victory over her life and the crushing depression that sometimes hovers over it.

The Easter program at church was a Spirit-filled, earth moving experience that resulted in many coming to Christ or re-committing their lives.

And this, folks, was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg!

By the end of the day yesterday, I was talking about the awesome “God sandwich” I had. The day started with the bread of Bible study and worship…which was followed by a bull roast with old friends and some time at the firing range with my hubby, best friend and love of my life (all wrapped into one awesome man)…and then we finished off the day with the Easter musical at church which was filled with amazing testimonies and the presence of the Lord himself -More Bread of Life. What a wonderful day! Satan got quite a kick in the teeth yesterday. He’s gonna need some dentures to chew on THAT sandwich. But, his bite has no power here.

Today I had desert in the form of some very beautiful, spiritually poetic icing on the cake. We awoke to a blanket of white that still continues to fall.

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

  1. Oh, how I love The Lord and the way He always shows up in your writing! Getting a bite of your sandwich, girl, and it’s mmmm so God! When the praises go up, the blessings come down!

  2. 🙂 Putting it out there and giving that swift kick in the teeth to the Enemy… a major turning point. I can’t tell you how many women who I don’t even know that well have come to me and told me how they have seen a huge difference in me in the last few months. It is a blessing to feel like I finally have victory and that it is not just ‘in my head’ but that it is noticeable to those around me.
    Love you girl!!
